Jurong Bird Park
05 May 2013 Sunday
The sky was slight grey but this did not stop us to proceed to the Bird Park, especially when the kids were looking forward to this visit. We arrived the entrance around 1030am. Thanks to one of my colleague who managed to bring us in free. We did not take monorail this round, hence, we started to explore the park. We started with Penguin Expedition exhibit where there were tons of penguins swim happily under water. The Waterfall Aviary is compulsory whenever we visit the bird park.
We passed by the Breeding and Research centre, there is a nursery and even incubators, showcasing the newly born chicks. We tried to explain to the kids of a chick’s growing up phases.
This is a wonderful place for both adults and kids, All of us enjoy every species we managed to see as well as kids had a fantastic moments at the Birdz of Play. Unfortunately, our timing just not right for any performance and shows, which was a loss to us. We had heard feedback from others that this is a must and best show, next round maybe.
After 3 hours of walks and plays, we left for lunch at the Hill Top Japanese Restaurant
We will definitely be back again as both kids had an exhilarating day!
